A Study of the Actual Role of Government Agencies and Government Mechanisms in the Enforcement of Alcohol Control Points Around the University

This research was a qualitative research. The objective was to study the actual role of government agencies and government mechanisms in enforcing laws regarding the control measures of alcoholic beverage sales points around university. Population were Muang Pathumthani Police Station, Khlong Luang Police Station, Khlong Luang District, Excise Area Pathumthani 1, Excise Area Pathumthani 2, and Pathumthani Public Health. The number of key informants was 9. The instrument was a semi-structured interview form with in-depth interview. Data collection and collection by yourself. Data analysis, content analysis presented in descriptive way. The research results could be summarized as follows : 1. After the NCPO Order No.22/2015, government officials performed integrated operations, with the administrative staff leading, Military, Police, Excise and Provincial Public Health. Approximately 50 intercourse laws were enforced regarding the regulation of alcohol distribution control points around university, once a week. Joint performance was more efficient and effective than normal performance. 2. The situation of COVID-19 was still in the period of the NCPO’s Order No.22/2015. Government officials and the integrated operations of all parties administrative staff, military, police and provincial public health. Assemble in the amount of 50 officers, joint operations, once a week. , They had performed their duties together with strength. Joint performance was more efficient and effective than normal situation.
