This research is a survey research and the objectives are demonstrated as follows; (1) study situation of teaching and learning based on the curriculum in the Bachelor of Arts Program (Library and Information Science) (2) study the guiding principles in teaching and learning of the Bachelor of Arts Program (Library and Information Science). The research instruments used are questionnaire and interview. The sample consisted of students, teacher, and users. Statistics applied are percentage, mean, and standard deviation. The findings of the research were illustrated as follows; (1) the opinion in all aspects toward teaching condition in general was apparently high. It was demonstrated that lecturer and student, curriculum and teaching, and library and service aspects reached the highest points, respectively. (2) The guideline of teaching can be divided into several aspects. Regarding to the curriculum and teaching aspects, the curriculum should be created modernly. Regarding to the lecturer and student aspect, it should place an importance on lecturer system management and skill of knowledge teaching that assist students to apply knowledge and allow them practice it the real situation. Regarding to the library and service, there should be ready in the course of venue, laboratory, tool, technology and other service.
