Strategies to overcome the prostitution problems of Metropolitan Police Division 9, Metropolitan Police Bureau

Abstract

This research has the objectives to (1) studies the strategy of practice level to overcome the prostitution problem (2) studies the factors affecting the implementation of strategies to overcome the prostitution problem. This research is a quantitative. The quantitative population of 1,563 people that calculating the sample by using Yamane’s simplified formula and got the result of 400 samples, The statistics used in this research were frequency, percentage, mean and standard deviation, and multiple regression analysis, analyze the relationship between variables using Pearson’s correlation coefficient, analyze independent variables and predictor variables using Enter multiple regression analysis. The research results showed that 1. the level of compliance with the strategy of overcoming prostitution is at the highest level. There are 3 aspects; Policy resources Organization communication and the Characteristics of the organization 2. there are 3 internal factors with the highest mean affecting the implementation of strategies to overcome the prostitution problems, which are policy resources factor, organizational communication factor, and the characteristics of the organization factor. The external factors affecting the implementation of strategies to overcome the prostitution problems showed that the condition of technology had the mean in the highest level, followed by the condition of politic, and the condition of economic and social that had the means at the same rank. For the implementation of strategies to overcome the prostitution problems, the aspect that had the highest mean were included the prevention aspect, the prosecution aspect, the development of policy mechanisms, respectively. The protection aspect and the development of network partners cooperation aspect had the means at high levels.
