BCG Economic Model for balanced and Sustainable Development

Bio economy, circular economy and green economy are playing important roles in the transformation of Thailand by integrating knowledge of science, technology and innovation to drive the economy with the concept of "BCG economic model". This will lead to escape from the trap of middle-income countries, along with tangible environmental protection for Thailand to achieve the sustainable development goals of the United Nations. Hence, this academic article, therefore, aims to present a useful overview of the BCG economic model for driving the country's economy. The main issues have been compiled, comprising the BCG economic model concept. The importance of the BCG economic model to Thailand driving the BCG economic model abroad and driving the BCG economic model in the country. The importance of BCG strategies for driving the BCG economic model, vision, objectives, goals and indicators, supporting the BCG economic model for Thailand. Examples of outputs/products according to the concept of the BCG economic model are development guidelines for entrepreneurs in the business, industrial and agricultural sectors to see the potential of driving the economy, according to the BCG model for entrepreneurs to have confidence in adapting to suit the country's context and themselves to achieve a balanced and sustainable change in the future.
