Abstract

The Tragedy of Macbeth is one of William Shakespeare’s most famous plays. It was first performed in 1606 and takes place in medieval Scotland. The story explores themes such as ambition, power, guilt, and fate. The main character, Macbeth, is a brave warrior who makes bad choices because of his desire for power. The play shows how his ambition leads to his downfall. This review will look at the important ideas in the play and also explain how they can be connected to modern business ethics.
