9-R3 SEAT for Electric Guitar

Abstract
9-R3 Seat is a 1.39 minute composed for electric guitar. It is composed as a part of the musical project entitled ‘Memory for SmallJazz Ensemble,’ consisting of 8 pieces. This project has been funding by the Research Institute of Rangsit University by 2015 to conserve the memories of places in the Rangsit University Conservatory of Music.Compose of electric guitar, it serves as the first, introductory short piece for the entire project. This article means to demonstrate the conception and guidance of the piece. The title derives from the number of a classroom designed for each student taking a course in electric guitar. The composer set to designate his material by choosing random notes in V shape and then grouping those notes in categories, i.e., one-note, two-note, three-note, and four-note. It also deploys the right-hand technique, usually employed in classical guitar, to enhance the electric guitarist’s performance in sound texture and vividness, through various forms, such as p-i-m and p-i-m-a, etc.
