Abstract


The objectives of this research were: 1) to investigate the current contexts and the desirable contexts of technological leadership of the administrators. 2) to analyze The needs of development of islamic private schools in Pattani province according to the concept of technological leadership. 3)To explore the development guidelines on technological leadership of the administrators of islamic private schools. The stratified random sampling method was applied to select the sample group consisted of 358 administrators and teachers. the main interviewees consisted of 7 interviewees. The research instruments included the questionnaire was used in the data collection and Semi-Structured interview. The statistics used to analyze the data were frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation and the Modified Priority Needs Index (PNIModified).


The research result revealed that 1) the overall current and desirable contexts on the technological leadership of the administrators were at a high level 2) The necessary needs of the development of school administrators found that the aspect that has the greatest need, it is the use of technology in teaching and learning. 3) The development guidelines on technological leadership of school administrators found that administrators should have a vision in accepting technology and put a technological vision into action to encourage teachers to use technology in learning management. Along with encouraging teachers and personnel to attend technology workshops. the administrators should use technology tools for management and apply them to measure and evaluate results by using an information database system for assessment and decision making of the administrators. as well as being a good role model in using technology and understanding both the law and Islamic principles.
