DEVELOPING AN ONLINE PLATFORM WITH A DESIGN THINKING PROCESS TO PROMOTE QUR’AN RECITATION SKILLS FOR FATONI UNIVERSITY STUDENTS

Abstract

This research was carried out as a result of the development of online platform innovation and the test of quality inspection. They study the concepts and theories related to innovation to create innovation. This research is based on the design thinking process, including six steps. This study aims to develop an online platform through the design thinking process in the Qur’an, and promote Qur'an recitation skills through the online platform of the Qur'an group of Fatoni’s undergraduate students. It also studies the reflection of the students of Fortoni University on the online platform of the Qur’an. The target group of the study was first year students from Fatoni University in KhaoToom sub- district, Yarang District, Pattani Province, academic year 2022, their amount was 30 students through Purposive sampling. Research tools include: The tools used to collect information in this study are divided into two categories: 1. Qur’an recitation skills, by measuring according to the subject and evaluation criteria 2. Use online Qur’an learning platform and data analysis to evaluate students' thinking on learning management by calculating the mean value, standard deviation, dependency t test and content analysis. The results showed that: the effective of developing an online platform through the design thinking process to improve the efficiency of the students' reading skills of the Qur’an at Fatoni University was very high, according to the experiment, the average score of pre-test achieved 13.30, the standard deviation was 1.601, while the average score of post-test achieved 17.23 points, the standard deviation was 1.278,  The score of post-test was significantly higher than 0.001, reflecting the online platform of the Qur'an group of students from the University of Fatoni. The overall level of Qur'an recitation skills through designing the thinking process of the students of Fatoni University was very high.
