Conditions, Problems, and Guidelines for Development of Pondok Education Management in Nong Chik District Pattani Province

Abstract

This research the objectives are 1) to study the conditions, problems, and educational management of Pondok Educational Institutions in Nong Chik District. Pattani Province 2) To study guidelines for developing educational management of pondok educational institutions in Nong Chik District. Pattani Province The researcher has determined the sample group and target group for the research, consisting of 2 groups: 1) the sample group that responded to the interview questionnaire 3 people from each pondok institution, namely 1 administrator (teacher desk) and 2 assistant teachers, totaling 51 people, and 2) the target group to answer the questionnaire are administrators of pondok educational institutions. A purposive selection method was used for 17 people. The research instrument was a rating scale questionnaire. and interviews using open-ended questions. Analysis of information about conditions and problems from questionnaires by finding percentages, means, and standard deviations. and analysis of information on educational development guidelines for pondok educational institutions. Using content analysis methods

Pattani Province has 4 areas as follows: Curriculum, Teaching and Learning. The teaching aspect is at a low level. Pattani Province found that there are guidelines for developing education in pondok educational institutions as follows: Curriculum, for example, there should be vocational courses in pondok educational institutes, such as courses in engineering, agriculture, tailoring, electricians, etc., in order to earn a living income when completing pondok education. Teaching and learning, such as organizing a learning process that allows students to apply knowledge and skills necessary for life By organizing teaching and learning to have a variety of activities, such as learning about religion.
