The Development of Teachers Competency Enhancement Model to Raise The Quality of Education for Primary School Teachers of Assalam Smart School Association in Yala Provinces

Abstract

This study aimed to study the average level of teachers' competence, to analyze the exploratory components of teacher competence, and to study the relationship between teacher competence for primary teachers in the Assalam Quality School Network Association in Yala Province. The sample group used in this research was 265 primary teachers in the Assalam Quality School Network Association in Yala Province for the academic year 2022 from a total population of 785 people, which was calculated from the sample size using the Taro Yamane formula and setting the sampling error value to 0.05. The research data collection tool was a data analysis questionnaire. The quality of the content validity (IOC) and the index of consistency were found by 3 experts. The questions with a value greater than 0.6, which had 44 items, Data analysis included percentages, means, and standard deviations. Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) and Pearson Correlation were used.

The results of the study found that the average level of teacher competence for teachers was 3.93. The exploratory component analysis found that there were 4 components: Active Learning, Learning Design, Islamic Integration, and Digital Literacy. The relationship between teacher competence found that all 4 teacher competencies had a positive relationship.
