Re-Skilling Human Resource and Organizational Development Personnel in the Sustainability Industry

Abstract
This research aims to conduct a literature review on new skills for human resource and organization development personnel that promote sustainable development. It also involves a survey research to identify learning needs from 20 human resource and organization development managers of sustainability companies and subsequently analyzes and deciphers the survey results to design learning management strategies. This leads to the development of learning and development programs for human resource and organization development personnel to support sustainable economic development approaches. This research study has identified a model for developing and upskilling new competencies, as well as designing a curriculum for the development of human resource and organization development personnel to promote a sustainable economy.
