Area-based Development Research Journal has been indexed in the Scopus database since June 2026. To date, 101 articles published from 2022 through the second issue of 2026 have been included in the database, further enhancing the international visibility of area-based collaborative research. The journal has received a CiteScore of 0.2, placing it at the 5th percentile in the Geography, Planning and Development category.
