บทคัดย่อ
เกษตรกรกลุ่มเลี้ยงไก่พื้นเมือง บ้านเหนือใหญ่ ตำบลน้ำอ่าง อำเภอตรอน จังหวัดอุตรดิตถ์ เป็นเกษตรกรประสบปัญหาการเลี้ยงไก่พันธุ์ประดู่หางดำเชียงใหม่ที่ไม่เป็นไปตามมาตรฐาน เนื่องจากโรงเรือนมีขนาดไม่เหมาะสมต่อปริมาณไก่ในเล้าและไม่มีพื้นที่ปล่อยอิสระ การป้องกันโรค การรักษาและการควบคุม และการจัดการของเสียในฟาร์ม ส่งผลต่อการเจริญเติบโตและอัตราการเลี้ยงรอดของไก่ และเกษตรกรส่วนใหญ่ไม่มีองค์ความรู้ด้านการจัดการฟาร์มที่ถูกต้องตามสุขลักษณะและการปฏิบัติทางการเกษตรที่ดี งานวิจัยนี้จึงยกระดับฟาร์มไก่พื้นเมืองพันธุ์ประดู่หางดำเชียงใหม่ให้เป็นไปตามเกณฑ์การปฏิบัติทางการเกษตรที่ดีสำหรับไก่พื้นเมืองที่มีการเลี้ยงในระบบปล่อยอิสระ เพื่อให้สามารถผลิตไก่พื้นเมืองพันธุ์ประดู่หางดำเชียงใหม่ที่ถูกสุขลักษณะ และมีคุณภาพเนื้อไก่เหมาะสำหรับการบริโภค โดยมีสิตาฟาร์มเป็นฟาร์มต้นแบบในการยกระดับมาตรฐานฟาร์มในชุมชน เนื่องจากมีโรงเรือนขนาดใหญ่และมีพื้นที่ปล่อยอิสระ ด้วยการดำเนินการดังนี้ 1) การปรับปรุงฟาร์มตามมาตรฐานการปฏิบัติทางการเกษตรที่ดีสำหรับฟาร์มไก่พื้นเมืองระบบปล่อยอิสระ 2) การจัดการอาหารและน้ำที่ใช้เลี้ยงสัตว์ให้สะอาดและเพียงพอต่อการบริโภค 3) การจัดการฟาร์มด้านบุคลากร การทำความสะอาด การบำรุงรักษา และการจัดการสิ่งแวดล้อม 4) การยื่นขอรับรองมาตรฐานฟาร์มเพื่อยกระดับมาตรฐานฟาร์มไก่พื้นเมืองตามการปฏิบัติทางการเกษตรที่ดีสำหรับไก่พื้นเมืองระบบปล่อยอิสระ และ 5) การถ่ายทอดองค์ความรู้ด้านมาตรฐานฟาร์มไก่พื้นเมืองตามการปฏิบัติทางการเกษตรที่ดีสำหรับไก่พื้นเมืองระบบปล่อยอิสระ ส่งผลให้เกษตรกรได้รับการถ่ายทอดองค์ความรู้ด้านมาตรฐานฟาร์มจากฟาร์มต้นแบบจำนวน 18 คน เกษตรกรมีความรู้ ความเข้าใจ และให้ความสำคัญของการจัดการฟาร์มให้มีมาตรฐานเพิ่มขึ้น ร้อยละ 81.20 เกษตรกรจำนวน 4 ราย วางแผนยกระดับฟาร์มภายในระยะเวลา 1 ปี และเกษตรกรจำนวน 3 ราย วางแผนยกระดับฟาร์มภายในระยะเวลา 3 ปี โดยวางแผนปรับปรุงพื้นที่ปล่อยอิสระและปรับโครงสร้างโรงเรือนให้เหมาะสมเพื่อยกระดับฟาร์มให้มีมาตรฐานและมีประสิทธิภาพการผลิต เพื่อให้เป็นที่ยอมรับของผู้บริโภคและมีแหล่งจำหน่ายผลผลิตเพิ่มขึ้นทั้งในประเทศและต่างประเทศ ซึ่งจะส่งผลให้เกษตรกรมีรายได้เพิ่มขึ้น
