การศึกษาแนวโน้มความต้องการบัณฑิตในสาขาวิชาการออกแบบชุมชนเมืองมหาบัณฑิต : กรณีศึกษาประเทศไทย เวียดนาม และสิงคโปร์

บทคัดย่อ

โครงการวิจัยนี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาแนวโน้มความต้องการและคุณสมบัติบัณฑิตสาขาการออกแบบชุมชนเมืองเพื่อนำผลการวิจัยมาใช้ประโยชน์ในการจัดทำหลักสูตรและจัดการเรียนการสอนสาขาการออกแบบชุมชนเมือง โดยมุ่งเน้นการพัฒนาหลักสูตรและการจัดการเรียนการสอนให้ตอบรับกับความต้องการด้านวิชาชีพในระดับประเทศและระดับสากล ในปัจจุบันบุคลากรที่ประกอบวิชาชีพที่เกี่ยวข้องด้านการออกแบบชุมชนเมืองในประเทศไทยยังมีน้อย เมื่อเปรียบเทียบกับปริมาณโครงการด้านออกแบบชุมชนเมืองในประเทศไทยและในภาคพื้นเอเชียแปซิฟิกที่มีมากขึ้นอย่างต่อเนื่อง ซึ่งมีสาเหตุมาจากประเทศส่วนใหญ่ในภาคพื้นเอเชียแปซิฟิคนั้นเป็นประเทศกำลังพัฒนา ทำให้มีอัตราการขยายตัวของสังคมเมืองอย่างรวดเร็ว ในสภาวะเช่นนี้นักออกแบบชุมชนเมืองจึงเข้ามามีบทบาทอย่างมากในการพัฒนาและออกแบบสภาพแวดล้อมของเมืองให้เป็นไปอย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ ทางด้านคุณภาพชีวิตและด้านสภาพแวดล้อม เพื่อตอบรับการเปลี่ยนแปลงของสังคมเมืองและสภาวะการเปลี่ยนแปลงทางภูมิอากาศในปัจจุบัน โดยผลงานวิจัยนี้ จะเป็นข้อมูลสำคัญประกอบการพัฒนาหลักสูตรการออกแบบชุมชนเมืองในประเทศไทยที่เหมาะสม และตอบรับกับความต้องการวิชาชีพของนักออกแบบชุมชนเมืองในประเทศไทยและประเทศในภาคพื้นเอเชียแปซิฟิค เพื่อยกระดับให้วิชาชีพมีมาตรฐานทัดเทียมนานาชาติต่อไป

A study of Trends of Demand for the Graduate in Master in Urban Design: A Case Study of Thailand, Vietnam and Singapore

The research project aims to study the trends of demand for the graduates in urban design program. This research data can be useful for developing curriculum and teaching methods to meet the needs of the profession internationally. At the present, there are not many urban designers in the related professional field in urban design comparing to the amount of urban design projects which are increased steadily in Thailand and the Asia Pacific region. Most of the countries in the Asia Pacific region are the developing countries. For this reason, the rate of Asian cities growth has been increasing rapidly. In this situation, urban designer can play an important role in the development. With the efficient design of urban environments, the living quality and the environment will be better in response to the social conditions and the climate change. The results of this research are the important data for developing the urban design program in respond to the needs of the urban design profession in Thailand and Asia Pacific region and to enhance the urban design professional standards comparable to international.
