บทความนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาแนวคิดการออกแบบอย่างมีส่วนร่วม (Participatory Design: PD) และ
วิเคราะห์ปัจจัยที่ส่งผลต่อประสิทธิภาพการออกแบบโดยผู้ใช้สูงอายุมีส่วนร่วมให้นักออกแบบสามารถน????ำไปประยุกต์
ใช้ จากการทบทวนวรรณกรรมและงานวิจัยที่ใช้แนวคิดการออกแบบโดยผู้ใช้มีส่วนร่วมในการพัฒนาผลิตภัณฑ์ส????ำหรับ
ผู้สูงอายุ ผลการศึกษาพบ 7 ปัจจัยที่ส่งผลต่อประสิทธิภาพในการออกแบบโดยผู้ใช้สูงอายุมีส่วนร่วม ได้แก่
1) ช่วงเวลาของการท????ำกิจกรรม 2) ความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างผู้เข้าร่วม 3) การส่งเสริมให้เกิดการมีส่วนร่วม 4) บทบาท
ของผู้มีส่วนร่วม 5) ประเภทของกิจกรรมในการมีส่วนร่วม 6) ภาษาที่ใช้ และ 7) สถานที่ โดยสรุปเป็นข้อพิจารณาเพื่อ
ใช้วางแผนการออกแบบโดยผู้ใช้สูงอายุมีส่วนร่วมได้ดังนี้ คือ 1) ระยะเวลาในการท????ำกิจกรรม 2) การก????ำหนดวันในการ
ท????ำกิจกรรม 3) การก????ำหนดเวลาอาหารว่าง 4) วิธีการส่งเสริมการมีส่วนร่วม 5) บทบาทของผู้มีส่วนร่วม 6) การเลือก
ประเภทของกิจกรรม 7) ภาษาที่ใช้ให้เหมาะสม และ 8) ลักษณะของสถานที่และสิ่งอ????ำนวยความสะดวก

ABSTRACT
This article aims to study the concept of participatory design applied with elderly users and
analyze of the factors affecting this design strategy, so that it can be used by designers. The data were
gathered from literature review and research which the concept participatory design was applied in
the products development for the elderly. The findings show 7 factors affecting the efficiency of
participatory design for elderly users. There are 1) time of the activities, 2) relationship among
participants, 3) encouragement of participation, 4) roles of participations, 5) types of participatory
activities, 6) use of languages and 7) Location. In conclusion, the design considerations for planning
a participatory design applied with elderly users are: 1) duration of the activities, 2) schedule of
activities, 3) schedule of refreshment, 4) encouragement of participation, 5) roles of participants,
6) selection of the type activities, 7) appropriate uses of languages and 8) places and facilities.
