An Analysis of Freedom Philosophy of Rabindranath Tagore and David Hume

Abstract

This article concludes that freedom in Rabindranath Tagore's viewpoint is theism i.e. human freedom in the world depends on god. God is truly movable and powerful and involves with countless souls in the universe. On the other hand, David Hume's viewpoint about freedom is empiricism. He denied the matter of spirituality and physique. When there is no spirituality and physique, there is no creator or god.
