Philosophy of Tradition of Islamic Influence on Thai Society

Abstract

This article aims to: 1) study Islam 2) to study Islamic traditional philosophy, 3) to analyze Islamic traditional philosophy that influences Thai society. The study found that: 1) Islam is an important religion which is a large number of followers. There is the only God called Allah, Muhammad is a prophet, the Quran is the sacred scripture and also Imam is a worship leader and Muslim community. Islam was spread from Saudi Arabia. Now a day Islam came into Thailand since the Thai national historical record. 2) Muslims have culture and traditional way of life tied to the religious rules since they were born until their entire life. Moreover, to live in peaceful harmony with others under with context of society Muslims have evolved to adapt themselves all the times.
