Thomas Hobbes’ Ethical Social of Buddhist Ethical Viewpoint

This article is purposely attempted to discuss and answer the philosophical problem concerning Thomas Hobbes’ ethical social of Buddhist ethical viewpoint. According to Thomas Hobbes’ ethical social, it holds that one should do whatever gives rise to one’s benefit. A person should act on the basis of right and freedom under the condition of the social contract in order to no interaction with other’s right. Therefore, Hobbes is obviously accused of other’s benefit served. For the Buddhist ethics, a person should do whatever for individual benefits as same as other. Buddhist ethics is not different from Thomas Hobbes’s in individual benefit but ethical social. In other words, Buddhist ethics is not conditioned by social contract but the reality of being a human.
