Needs and Development Approaches to Strenght Support to Provincial Kindergarten Schooland District Kindergarten school

Abstract

This research has objectives (1) to study the performance of provincial kindergarten schools and district kindergarten schools. (2) to study the current obstacles, needs and approaches in developing provincial kindergarten school and district kindergarten school. The information was divided into 2 parts. The first part, population, consisted of 81 provincial kindergarten schools and 183 district kindergarten schools, the total was 264 schools. The second part, interviews, consisted of 5 provincial kindergarten school and 5 district kindergarten school, the total was 10 schools. Information providers were from each school, 4 people from each school consisted of a school executive, a school deputy executive or the head of the kindergarten department and 2 early childhood teachers. The total data provider was 40 people. The data analysis was used statistics, frequencies, percentage and content analysis.

The result of the research found that: 1) Performance 1.1 The Construction of Educational-Management Network found that there was an operational meeting to create a network school. There are speakers who can be a team to develop knowledge in the educational area. 1.2 There was a network of parents to educate and exchange knowledge. 1.3 There was a network via Line Group, Facebook and Clubs in the classroom. 2) Obstacles, Needs and Development approaches 2.1) In term of obstacles found that school had problems with executives, management and budgets. 2.2) In term of needs found that they needed the helps/supports in the side of being the center of the network, the qualified personnel according to the criteria, learning centers and need to supervise and follow the network school that was trained. 2.3) In term of development approaches found that they should have the several pattern or approach in teaching for example STEM Education, Montessor, etc.
