Abstract

The main objective of this research was to study the quality of working life of foreign department employees. Luang Prabang Province Lao People's Democratic Republic The sample used in this research was foreign department staff. Luang Prabang Province totaling 115 people using the formula of Taro Yamane (Yamane. 1973: 125) of 90 people. It is a questionnaire consisting of 3 parts, statistics used in data analysis. The descriptive statistics were number, percentage, mean and standard deviation for the general data of the sample. Inferential statistics include T-test and F-test for comparing the quality of life in the work life of foreign department employees. Luang Prabang Province Lao People's Democratic Republic by gender, age, marital status, education level. Work experience and monthly income.

          The results of the findings were as follows Quality of Work Life of Employees of Foreign Affairs Department, Luang Prabang Province Lao People's Democratic Republic Overall, it was at the medium level (= 3.60, SD = 0.40), and when considering each side, it was found that the side with the highest mean was the operational independence (= 4.16, SD = 0.33), followed by the Develop worker potential (= 3.68, SD = 0.67) and the side with the least mean is progress (= 3.31, SD = 0.85). Comparison of quality of life in the work of foreign department employees Luang Prabang Province Lao People's Democratic Republic by gender, age, marital status, education level. Work experience And monthly income Overall, age difference was found to be statistically significant at 0.05 level, while sex, marital status, education level. Work experience and monthly income was found to be no different. Suggestions on guidelines for improving the quality of life in the work of the foreign department employees Luang Prabang Province Lao People's Democratic Republic: when considering positions, the talents and contributions of employees should be used as the primary criteria for making decisions and the organization should encourage all employees in all positions to have the opportunity to receive scholarships to pursue higher education according to the needs of employees such as semester. And equal across the organization.
