GOOD GOVERNANCE MANAGEMENT OF NAM SOM SUB-DISTRICT MUNICIPALITY, NAM SOM DISTRICT, UDON THANI PROVINCE

Abstract

The main objective of this research was to study the good governance of the Nam Som Municipality. To compare the good governance management of the Nam Som Subdistrict Municipality They were classified by gender, age, education level and occupation and to provide advice on good governance management of Nam Som Sub-district Municipality, Nam Som District, Udon Thani Province. The sample used in this research was people living in Nam Som Municipality area. Using the formula of Taro Yamane of 380 people. The tool used to collect the data. This is a questionnaire about the good governance of the municipality. It consists of 3 parts of content, statistics used in data analysis. The descriptive statistics were number, percentage, mean and standard deviation for the general data of the sample. The inferential statistics were T-test and F-test for comparison of good governance management of Nam Som Sub-district Municipality, Nam Som District, Udon Thani Province. By gender, age, education level and occupation.

The results of the findings were as follows: Good Governance Management of Nam Som Sub-District Municipality, Nam Som District, Udon Thani Province Overall, it was at a high level (= 4.20, SD = 0.12) and when considering each aspect, it was found that the side with the highest mean was the main aspect of efficiency (= 4.27, SD = 0.34), followed by the principle of equality (= 4.26, SD = 0.37) and the side with the least mean was the main effectiveness aspect (= 4.12, SD = 0.31).

Comparison of Good Governance Management of Nam Som Municipality, Nam Som District, Udon Thani Province Classified by gender, age, education level and occupation. The sample group with different sex, age, education level and occupation had opinions on the good governance management of Nam Som Municipality. No different.

Suggestions on guidelines for the development of good corporate governance of Nam Som Sub-District Municipality, Nam Som District, Udon Thani Province, namely, there should be an evaluation of the implementation of the principles of good governance from all concerned parties from all sectors. To use the results as information for planning in order to find ways to operate more efficiently.
