Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Operations of Ban Phue Subdistrict Administrative Organization, Ban Phue District, Udon Thani Province

Abstract

The main objective of this research was to study public opinion on disaster prevention and mitigation performance of Ban Phue Sub-District Administration Organization, Ban Phue District, Udon Thani Province. The sample consisted of 370 people living in the subdistrict administrative area using the formula of Taro Yamane. The tool used to collect the data. This is a questionnaire about people's opinions in the disaster prevention and mitigation performance of the Ban Phue Subdistrict Administrative Organization. It consists of 3 parts of content, statistics used in data analysis. The descriptive statistics were number, percentage, mean and standard deviation for the general data of the sample. The inferential statistics were T-test and F-test for comparing public opinion on disaster prevention and mitigation operation of Ban Phue Subdistrict Administrative Organization, Ban Phue District, Udon Thani Province. By gender, age, education level and occupation.

          The results of the findings were as follows:

Comparison of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Performance of Ban Phue Subdistrict Administrative Organization Ban Phue District Udon Thani Province Overall, it was found that people with sex, age, education level And different occupations It was of the opinion that the disaster prevention and mitigation work of Ban Phue Subdistrict Administrative Organization, Ban Phue District, Udon Thani Province, on occupation, had a statistically significant difference at level 0.05, as for sex, age and education level. Found no difference.

            Suggestions for disaster prevention and mitigation work of Ban Phue Subdistrict Administrative Organization, Ban Phue District, Udon Thani Province, for example, management should plan the disaster prevention and mitigation operation to meet international standards. By planning to develop the performance of the operational staff to be effective to be equivalent and meet international standards both at the national and ASEAN levels.
