Components of The Effectiveness Welfare School

Abstract

            The purposes of research were 1) to study the effectiveness  components  of the welfare school  and 2) to verify the indicators for effectiveness of the welfare school. The research methodology consisted of 3 steps which were 1) the content  analysis to scope the conceptual framework based on the effective school administration theories; 2) the instruments development and factor analysis of effectiveness components of the welfare school; and 3) verification of indicators for effectiveness components of the welfare school. The sample was 44 welfare schools under Office of the Basic Education Commission from simple random sampling. The instruments of the research were the semi-structured interview, questionnaire about the effectiveness components of the welfare school, and connoisseurship form. The statisticsused for data analysis were frequency,percentage, arithmetic mean,  standard deviation, mode, and exploratory factor analysis.


            The research resultrevealed that 1)the effectiveness components of the welfare school consisted of 4 factors; academic quality orientation,management  awareness,  potential and performance  of teachers and personnel, and creative leadership. 
2) the indicators for effectiveness components of the welfare schools consisted of 15 indicators  which were  mutually  verified  by the experts  that all indicators  were  found  in  accordance with  propriety,  feasibility,  utility,  and  accuracy.
