Abstract

This study was mainly designed to ascertain approaches to employee development used by various organizations in developed countries. The study was documenter in nature. The needed data were derived from books, journals and some social media. The collected data ware analyzed by means of categorizing, systematizing, interrelating, synthesizing, and summarizing.


An a result of the data analysis, the researcher has discovered the following facts :


Four approaches were used to develop employees, namely formal education, assessment, job experiences and interpersonal relationships.
