บทคัดย่อ
บทเพลง “นาคาเริงวารี” เป็นผลงานสร้างสรรค์ทางมานุษยดุริยางควิทยา ผู้ประพันธ์ได้ดำเนินการวิจัยโดยการศึกษาภาคสนามเพื่อเรียนรู้เพลงพิณโบราณจากผู้ให้ข้อมูลหลักคือครูทองใส ทับถนน มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ 1) ศึกษาบทเพลงพิณของครูทองใส ทับถนน 2) ประพันธ์เพลงร่วมสมัยสำหรับวงแซกโซโฟนควอร์เท็ต จากเอกลักษณ์ในเพลงพิณของครูทองใส ทับถนน เป็นพื้นฐานในการสร้างสรรค์ โดยใช้วิธีวิจัยทางมานุษยดุริยางควิทยาและสร้างสรรค์งานตามหลักดุริยางควิทยาและการประพันธ์เพลง
เพลงนาคาเริงวารี มี 2 ตอน ประกอบด้วย ตอน 1 มีสองส่วน คือ “ถอนสะอื้น” และ “อุกอั่ง” ตอน 2 มีสองส่วนคือ “หลงส้น” และ “ม่วนหลาย” ใช้แนวคิดในการประพันธ์เพลง 3 แนวคิด คือ 1) การผสมผสานวัฒนธรรมดนตรี 2) การแสดงเอกลักษณ์ทางดนตรีในเพลงพิณโบราณของครูทองใส ทับถนน และ 3) การประพันธ์เพลงร่วมสมัย
