Study the Activities Model of the Student Mobility ‘TWINCLE Program’ for Promoting Global Citizenship and Internationalization for Japanese Students of Chiba University, Japan

Abstract
The Purposes of this research were to study activities model of the ‘TWINCLE Program’ and results of the program management that promoting global citizenship and internationalization for Japanese students of Chiba University, Japan. 44 Samples for studying were selected by purposed, composed of 4 professors who were running the program, 10 membered professors, 10 Japanese students, 10 foreign students and 10 pupils participated in the activities of the program. The duration of data collected were 3 years (2017-2019). Research tools were document research, interview, focus group and participatory observation. Data were analyzed by content analysis. The results found that: 1. Activities Model of the TWINCLE Program that promoting global citizenship and internationalization for Japanese students of Chiba University, Japan called Twin college envoys or TWINCLE Program, this program could gain budget supported by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Science and Technology and Chiba University since 2012-2019. This program aimed to establish student mobility program with 12 university partners in ASEAN and Japan for 1-3 weeks. Model composed of 4 Activities were 1. student exchange, 2. the annual conference in Chiba during February or March for 2-3 days in order to meeting among program members, 3. the presenting session of students and pupils 4. the activity session for supporting pupils to respond to global problem by using English for communication. 2. The results of TWINCLE program management were success, due to Chiba University could gain the budget from the government in 2019, and samples were satisfied with the activities because they had learnt to be global citizen and internationalization by using English for communication and work collaboration with foreign members of the program. For suggestion, should use quantitative research and apply the model of activities for student development project.
