Innovative Development of Underwater Photography Following the Design thinking to Develop Media Production Capability Ability

Abstract
This research has an objective to develop an innovation of underwater photography following the concept of design thinking and to study the result of innovative development of underwater photography following the concept of design thinking. The result found that this research had production process of still photography and underwater movement with factors and circumstances as follows: 1. Preparation of a photographer and team 2. Communicating the meaning and translation between subject and photographer 3. High investment of equipment rent and production 4. Photographer cannot dive 5. To see and check photo files, camera equipment must be brought out of water after used in the water. With the stated circumstances, the researcher has invented and develop an innovation of underwater photography to support the capability of media production. Through synthesizing from work experiences of media production for more than 20 years and teaching students for more than ten years, the innovative development from material analysis, refracting calculation, and functions and features of underwater camera have come to be the innovation of underwater photography in order to address the problems that photographers do not have to dive. It also lets the photographers create underwater photographs. Seven specialists of underwater photography innovation have conducted the evaluation and certification which the photographers do not have to get in the water to shoot photos. The appropriateness was in high level to use this innovation in media production process and answer the media production question as well as it can lower the cost of equipment rent and the taken photos can be immediately seen.
