This article  has the objectives: 1. To study the importance of the Mong Klang River basin area. 2. To study the historical development of the ancient Ban Lod community from the Ban Lod inscription. It is an important marker for people seeking a place to settle, which is a sacred mountain.  According to beliefs shared with other similar communities. From the 22nd Buddhist century onwards, evidence of the widespread settlement of people in the Lan Xang period appeared.
