Vol. 24 No. 1 (2024): Journal of East Asia and ASEAN Studies (Vol. 24 No. 1 (2024) January - June)
Journal of East Asia and ASEAN Studies has been kindly
supported by the Faculty of Political Science, Ramkhamheang University
for academic paper publication. It also helps the Center for Politic,
Social, and Area Studies (CPSAS), which owns this journal, to gain financial
support from Ramkhamheang University. On behalf of the editorial board, I would like to express my gratitude for all of these supports.
All of the articles published in this issue were evaluated by double-blinded review method. In each article, there were 3 peers, whom the editorial board has selected by their expertise and area of
interest regarding the topic of the paper. The editorial board also
considers the peers’ decision as supreme and final decision. In other words, the number of articles we will publish in each issue depends on the number of articles the peers approve. Therefore, there are 7 articles in this issue, which include various topics like the global governance of cultural artifacts, Japanese climate change policy, online gambling business of the youth, urbanization of Chonburi province, african youth’s dream to become a football player, and the state of CCP Communist Youth League under Xi Jinping.
