Potential Development of Agribusiness Enterpreneur in Songkhla Province

Abstract

The objectives of this research were to 1) compare the capability of the entrepreneurs in the small and medium enterprise in agriculture in Songkhla province classified into personal factors and 2) investigate the characteristics and skills of the entrepreneurs that affected the capability of the entrepreneurs. Samples were 385 entrepreneurs in the small and medium enterprises in agriculture in Songkhla province who had the least five years of experience in the business. For quantitative method, frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-Test F-Test with One-Way ANOVA, and multiple regression analysis were applied for data analysis. The finding revealed that the differences of ages and types of the enterprises reflected a different level of capability of the entrepreneurs in the small and medium enterprises in agriculture as the statistically significant level at .05.  Moreover, the characteristics and skills of the entrepreneurs had a 24% influence rate on the capability of the entrepreneurs as a statistically significant level at .01.
