Abstract

This research aims to study the level of strategic human resource development of small and medium enterprises in Songkhla Province to support industrial 4.0 and create a forecasting model by using strategic human resource development as a causal factor that affects the development of a high-performing small and medium-sized business that supports industry 4.0. The sample groups are personnel that work in small and medium enterprises that registered with Department of Business Development Songkhla amounting to 400 people by simple random sampling. A questionnaire was used as a research instrument that was qualitatively validated by assessing content validity and reliability. The data were analyzed using a computer program. The statistics used for the data analysis consisted of mean, standard deviation, correlation coefficient, enter multiple regression analysis and stepwise multiple regression analysis. The results showed that the level of strategic human resource development of SMEs to support industry 4.0 in overall and in each aspect was at the highest level. The predictive of strategic human resource development for developing to high performance to support industrial 4.0 include systematic thinking and knowledge of technology/information technology and teamwork.
