Abstract

Conducting research in an era of technological progress, the research instruments for collecting data are more convenient and easier to use in both quantitative and qualitative research, with visual and audio technology.  Researchers need to choose technology that is consistent with their research. The use of instruments in the information age are divided into 5 types: (1) search technology, (2) input technology, (3) storage technology, (4) process technology, and (5) sharing and publishing technology.
