The premises and environment management of Ban Wiang Haeng School, Chiang Mai Province

Abstract

The purposes of this research were 1) to analyze problems and cause of problems, and to propose methods of the premises and environment management of Ban Wiang Haeng School, Chiang Mai Province.  Population used in this study were experts, parents representatives, educational personnel, and school board committee, the total number was 34.  Instrument used in this research was a focus group discussion.  Data were analyzed by summarizing and synthesizing by each issue, and the examining form of the suitability, feasibility, and usefulness, data were analyzed by using percentage.

The research found that the problems and the causes of POLC principles (Planning, Organizing, Leading, Controlling), the school lacked of planning, systematic management, personnel, community and students were not encouraged to join together and there were not the monitoring, following-up, evaluating, and summarizing for the improvement and development.

The recommendations found that the administrators should have the meetings for planning and appointing the operational committee, encourage all sectors to coordinate, monitor, follow-up, evaluate, and summarize for the improvement and development.        

As regards the examining according to the examination criteria more than 60%, it was believed that over 60% was suitability, feasibility, and usefulness.
