Enhancing Learning Achievement Plan of Students at Ban Pong Daeng School, Thung Hua Chang District, Lamphun Province

Abstract

The purposes of this research were to study the problems, guidelines for enhancing learning achievement plan of students and to propose a plan for enhancing learning achievement plan of students at Ban Pong Daeng School, Thung Hua Chang District, Lamphun Province.  Instruments used in this study were an interview, workshop, and a questionnaire for evaluating of suitable and feasible planning from teachers, basic school committee, and specialists.  Data were analyzed, synthesized contents and the statistics used for analyzing were mean and standard deviation.

                The research results revealed that the problems concerning the school curriculum were the lack of improvement and curriculum implementation, the solutions were to monitor, to follow-up and to evaluate curriculum, continuously; the problems concerning educational media and technology were the lack of using media for learning management, the solution was to stimulate the use of existing learning media worthy; the problems concerning learning management were not focused on the process of thinking skills, the solutions were to encourage a variety of learning management and to promote the analysis and synthesis thinking skills for students; the problems concerning the Internal supervision was the lack of learning supervision, continuous and variously. the solution was to manage the supervisory calendar; the problems concerning measurement and evaluation was the inaccurate of the measurement and evaluation, the solution was to stimulate the measurement and evaluation based on indicators; the problems concerning teachers, besides the learning management teachers had the other responsivities, the solutions were to reduce the other responsivities and to encourage teachers focusing on learning management;  the problems concerning learners were the lack of the learning enthusiasm, the solution was to raise awareness of learning for the parents and students.

                As regards the plan for enhancing learning achievement of students at Ban Pong Daeng school, there were 6 components consisting of background, mission, goals, plan, project/activity, and the successful indicators.

                As regards the evaluation results of suitability and possibility for enhancing learning achievement plan of students at Ban Pong Daeng school, it was found that the suitability for enhancing learning achievement plan of students was at a high level and possibility.
