Develop Management of the Buddhism Propagation in Sangha Government Region 11

Abstract

The objectives of this research were to study and develop the effectiveness of Buddhism propagation management in the 11^th Sangha Administrative Region. The researcher used mixed research methods, including quantitative research, to study a sample of 396 monks who were based in the 11^th Sangha Administrative Region. The tools used in the study included a questionnaire. The statistical analyses employed were frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and multiple regression. Additionally, qualitative research methods were employed, including structured in-depth interviews with 17 key informants from the Sangha 11, and focus group discussions with 10 experts, using descriptive content analysis techniques.

The results of this research found that: the development of the effectiveness of Buddhism propagation management in the 11^th Sangha Administrative Region encompassed several aspects. These included accessibilities to the people, which involved participation in community development, sending missionaries to combat drug abuse, providing assistance, making sacrifices, and organizing missionary activities. Public participation entailed patronage of religion, involvement in decision-making processes, temple development, and participation in activities aimed at managing andsupporting Buddhism. People's knowledge development involved acquiring skills in taking responsibility, problem-solving, maintaining precepts, and practicing Dharma. Livelihood centered around the temple as the focal point of activities, community learning resources, and the well-being of the people. It was observed that the people adhered to precepts, engaged in prayer, disregarded unwholesome actions, followed Dharma and lived contentedly.
