Guidelines for Risk Management According to the 4 Principles of Vuddhidhamma in Situation of COVID-19 Pandemic of Educational Institutions under Bangkok Metropolitan Administration, Central Bangkok Group

Abstract

The objectives of this research were to: 1) study the risk conditions for educational institution administration 2) study methods of risk management according to the four principles of Vuddhidhamma 3) propose guidelines for risk management according to the four principles of Vuddhidhamma in situation of COVID-19. The mixed methods research was used in the study. The sample of this research was 280 school administrators and teachers, selected by simple random sampling. The research instrument used for collecting data was rating scale questionnaire and interview. Percentage, mean, and standard deviation values were used for data analysis.

The results of this research found that:

1. The state of risk management in school administration in 6 aspects was at a high level overall and the risk was at a low level. In details by descending order: 1) In policy 2) In underprivileged children 3) In operation for safety 4) In learning 5) In welfare and protection 6) In financial management respectively.
2. The methods of risk management in school administration of: 1) Application of Saddhammassavana principle in learning management 2) Application Saddhammassavana principle as the base in building the administration pattern to cover underprivileged children in order to promote their welfare and protection 3) Application of Yonisomanasikara principle in examining policy reason and safety in operation 4) Application of Dhammanudhamma Patipatti principle for transparency in financial management.
3. The guidelines for risk management according to the 4 principles of Vuddhidhamma are as follows: 1) Application of Sappurisamseva principle in discussions for work details and administration guidelines 2) Application of Dhammassavana principle in receiving information and using the information in extension and improvement of education with quality and efficiency 3) Application of Dhammanudhamma Patipatti principle in putting knowledge into practice and in continuous follow-up and evaluation.
