Abstract

The objectives of this research were: 1) to study the effects of Muay Thai exercise activities on physical fitness related to skills for kindergarten students 2) to compare physical fitness before and after using Muay Thai exercise activities. The sample group was Kindergarten 3 students at Ratchaburi municipality demonstration school. They had taken the physical education course in the 1st semester of academic year 2023, numbering 30 people from a specific selection. The tools used in the study were 1) Muay Thai exercise activities to enhance physical fitness related to skills 2) tests and standards for physical fitness related to skills of the sports science office, department of physical education, ministry of tourism and sports data were analyzed by analyzing the mean and standard deviation.

The results of this research found that:

  1. Results of the physical fitness test related to skills after using Muay Thai exercise activities found that the physical fitness of the sample group Flexibility Balance and speed (ð‘ĨĖ… = 5.51, S.D. = 0.92), (ð‘ĨĖ… = 13.34, S.D. = 18.37), (ð‘ĨĖ… = 5.14, S.D. = 0.07), all three aspects are at the good criterion level, respectively. As for strength, Leg muscles (ð‘ĨĖ… = 72.43, S.D. = 10.77) are at the moderate level.
  2. The results of comparing physical fitness related to skills found that flexibility improved by 2.2 centimeters, balance improved by 8.56 seconds, speed decreased by -1.27 seconds, and leg muscle strength by 10.6 centimeters
