Guidelines for Education Development in Early Childhood Level of Child Development Center Attach to Chiang Dao Sub-District Administration Organization to the Standards of the National Child Care Center

Abstract

The purpose of this research were to study and investigate the current situation and problems in early childhood education at the Chiang Dao Sub–district Administrative Organization, Chiang Dao district, Chiang Mai Province, and to find out how to develop the education to meet the standards of the National Children's Center. The population consisted of 64 people; 2 academic educators or educational assistants;
4 chiefs of child development center or chief of child development center, 8 child care givers or a child care assistants, and 50 committees of the center for child development. The instrument used for collect the data was questionnaire. In data analyzing, mean square and standard deviation were calculated, and the results of the analysis were used for the Focus Group Discussion. The research found;

1. Current situation of child center management was moderate. The problem level was moderate. The developmental approach is that the child development center should improve its administrative structure to be clear and systematic. The school building should be improved to be strong, safe and secure, as well as, the internal and external environments should be facilitated for learning activities.


2. The managing process to promote the development of children learning, the current situation of affairs was very high. The problem level was moderate. The development approach was to keep children constantly undergoing annual health checks, to cover dental health, sight, ear, at least once a year.


3. The quality of children, the current situation of affairs is very high. The problematic status is at non-problem level. Development guidelines should encourage all children to be trained in health care habits, and accident prevention that may happen to themselves and others on a regular basis.
