กลวิธีการแปลหนังสือราชการทางการทูตจากจีน-ไทย

บทคัดย่อ
งานวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษากลวิธีการแปลหนังสือราชการทางการทูตจากภาษาจีนเป็นภาษาไทย เปรียบเทียบกับภาษาต้นฉบับพร้อมยกตัวอย่าง จากเว็บไซต์สถานกงสุลใหญ่ ณ เมืองชิงต่าว ประจำสาธารณรัฐประชาชนจีน จำนวน 72 เรื่อง และข้อควรระวังการแปลหนังสือราชการทางการทูต ระเบียบวิจัยนี้เป็นเชิงคุณภาพใช้ทฤษฎีการแปลของ Newmark, Baker และ กนกพร นุ่มทอง และ ศิริวรรณ ลิขิตเจริญเป็นเกณฑ์ในการวิจัย ผลการศึกษาพบว่าการแปลหนังสือราชการทางการทูตไม่ซับซ้อนมากนัก เพราะรูปประโยคในหนังสือมีโครงสร้างแบบตายตัว ในแต่ละประโยคยังแฝงไปด้วยคำศัพท์และความหมายที่ผู้เขียนต้องการสื่อให้กับผู้อ่านได้ศึกษามุมมองของคำศัพท์ที่หลากหลาย แต่ยังคงรักษาโครงสร้างและความหมายเดิมเอาไว้ ผู้วิจัยสรุปกลวิธีการแปลเป็น 4 แนวทาง ได้แก่ การแปลแบบตรงภาษา การทับศัพท์ การละและเพิ่มคำ และการละคำ โดยกลวิธีการแปลที่พบมากที่สุด คือ กลวิธีการแปลแบบตรงภาษา คิดเป็นร้อยละ 76.39 รองลงมาคือ การแปลทับศัพท์ คิดเป็นร้อยละ 11.11 การละและเพิ่มคำ คิดเป็นร้อยละ 6.94 และพบน้อยที่สุดคือการละคำ คิดเป็นร้อยละ 5.56 หลังจากการศึกษาและวิเคราะห์การแปลหนังสือราชการทางการทูตพบว่ามีคำศัพท์ทางราชการที่หลากหลายคำที่มีความจำเป็นและเป็นประโยชน์ในอนาคต ดังนั้นคำศัพท์ที่ศึกษาในงานวิจัยฉบับนี้จึงมีความสำคัญเป็นอย่างมากในการนำไปใช้แปลหนังสือราชการทางการทูตต่อไป
