Using the Ok5R Technique with Metaverse Learning Provision to Enhance Communication, and Teamwork and Collaboration Competencies in Thai Subject for Grade 8 Students

Abstract
The objectives of this research were to1) create and evaluate the quality of learning management plans using the OK5R technique with the Metaverse Learning Provision to enhance communication, and teamwork and collaboration competencies in Thai Subject for Grade 8 Students, 2) compare the communication competence of Grade 8 students before and after learning, 3) study the teamwork and collaboration competence of Grade 8 students during and after learning, and 4) study the students' satisfaction with the learning management using the OK5R technique with Metaverse Learning Provision in Thai language subject. The research population consisted of 5 experts in curriculum and Thai language teaching, and 19 Grade 8 students from WatKhlongMakluea School, Phrom Phiram District, Phitsanulok Province, during the second semester of the 2023 academic year. The research instruments included: 1) Thai language learning management plans using the OK5R technique Metaverse Learning Provision, consisting of 10 plans covering 20 hours, 2) learning management assessment form, 3) a communication competence assessment form, 4) a teamwork and collaboration competence assessment form, and 5) a satisfaction questionnaire. Data were analyzed by means, standard deviations, development percentages.
The results revealed the following: 1) Thai language learning management plans consisted of 10 plans covering 20 hours, with a quality rating of very good. 2) Communication competence of students before the learning process was 51.6%, rated as "capable." After learning, it increased to 74.7%, with a development percentage of 47.8%, rated as "moderate development." 3) Teamwork and collaboration competence of students during the learning process using was 62.5% in the first round, rated as "capable," and 70.1% in the second round, still rated as "capable." After learning, it rose to 81.1%, rated as "beyond expectations," showing an increasing trend. And 4) students' satisfaction with the learning management was at a high level, with an average score of 4.31 and a standard deviation of 0.69.
