บทบาทของอาจารย์ในการส่งเสริมทักษะการเรียนรู้ในศตวรรษที่ 21 สำหรับบัณฑิตไทย

บทคัดย่อ

การรวมกลุ่มความร่วมมือด้านเศรษฐกิจ การศึกษา สังคม วัฒนธรรม การเมืองและการเปลี่ยนแปลงด้านเทคโนโลยี ทำให้เกิดการแข่งขันในการประกอบอาชีพและการดำรงชีวิตที่ซับซ้อน หลายประเทศทั่วโลกรวมทั้งประเทศไทยมีความกังวลในการพัฒนาผู้เรียนให้มีคุณลักษณะที่สามารถดำรงชีวิตท่ามกลางความเปลี่ยนแปลงของโลกได้อย่างเหมาะสมและมีความสุข หน่วยงานด้านการศึกษาและทุกภาคส่วนได้กำหนดคุณลักษณะของผู้เรียนในศตวรรษที่ 21 คือ 3R และ 4C (Partnership for 21st Century Skill ) 3 R ได้แก่ Reading, Writing และ Arithmetic และ 4 C ได้แก่ Critical Thinking , Communication Collaboration และ Creativity รวมถึงทักษะชีวิตและอาชีพและทักษะด้านสารสนเทศสื่อและเทคโนโลยี และการบริหารจัดการด้านการศึกษาแบบใหม่ ซึ่งบุคคลสามารถช่วยสร้างคุณลักษณะดังกล่าวให้แก่ผู้เรียนได้ คือ อาจารย์ที่ปรึกษาและอาจารย์ผู้สอนในศตวรรษที่ 21 ควรจัดการเรียนรู้โดยฝึกให้ผู้เรียนได้เรียนรู้ผ่านการกระทำ  การเปิดโอกาสให้ผู้เรียนได้ติดต่อหลายช่องทางติดตามความก้าวหน้าในการเรียนรู้ของผู้เรียน การจัดบรรยากาศที่เอื้อต่อการเรียนรู้ การจัดกระบวนการเรียนรู้ให้มีรูปแบบการปฏิบัติจริง การสร้างเครือข่ายในการเรียนรู้จากทุกภาคส่วนในสังคม สิ่งสำคัญที่สุดที่จะทำให้อาจารย์ประสบความสำเร็จในการจัดการเรียนรู้ คือ การมีความรักและศรัทธาใน วิชาชีพครู จะทำให้อาจารย์ดูแลเอาใจใส่ศิษย์ด้วยความรักและทำหน้าที่ของตนเองอย่างทุ่มเทและอดทนเพื่อให้ลูกศิษย์มีความรู้ความก้าวหน้าและสามารถใช้ชีวิตด้วยสติปัญญา เพื่อการดำรงอยู่อย่างมีความสุขในชีวิตยุคศตวรรษที่ 21

THE ROLE OF TEACHERS IN PROMOTING LEARNING SKILLS IN THE 21ST CENTURY FOR THAI GRADUATES

Collaboration in economy, education, societies, cultures, politics, and technologies lead to competitions in career and living in many countries, including Thailand. The concern regarding learners’ development in terms of characteristics needed to live in the changing world. Educational institutes specify learners’ characteristics in 21st century, which are 3R and 4C. 3R include reading, writing, and Arithmetic. 4C consist of critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and creativity, including life skills and career and information and technology skills. These characteristics can be created by teachers and advisors. The teacher in 21st century should employ learning management in several methods, such as, learning by doing. The teacher should provide time slots to meet with learners and follow up learners’ progress, a conducive learning atmosphere for the students, organizing learning promoting active learning, building learning networks from different sectors in society. The important aspects to be successful in learning management are teachers’ love and faith in teaching profession; therefore, teachers will supervise learners with love and be responsible for their roles to facilitate learners to gain knowledge, and advancement. Finally, learners will be fullilled with graduate qualifications for 21st century.
