ความคาดหวังและความต้องการของนักศึกษามหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏเชียงใหม่ต่อบทบาทอาจารย์ที่ปรึกษา

บทคัดย่อ

การวิจัยเรื่อง ความคาดหวังและความต้องการของนักศึกษามหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏเชียงใหม่ ต่อบทบาทอาจารย์ที่ปรึกษา มีวัตถุประสงค์ (1) เพื่อศึกษาความคาดหวังและความต้องการของนักศึกษาที่มีต่อบทบาทของอาจารย์ที่ปรึกษา (2) เพื่อเปรียบเทียบความแตกต่างของความคาดหวังและความต้องการของนักศึกษาต่อบทบาทของอาจารย์ที่ปรึกษา (3 ) เพื่อศึกษาปัญหาและข้อเสนอแนะของนักศึกษาที่มีต่อบทบาทของอาจารย์ที่ปรึกษา

กลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการวิจัยเป็นนักศึกษาระดับปริญญาตรีภาคปกติ ภาคพิเศษเสาร์-อาทิตย์และภาคพิเศษจันทร์-ศุกร์ที่ลงทะเบียนเรียนภาคเรียนที่ 1/2554 จำนวน 1,068 คน ได้มาจากการสุ่มแบบแบ่งชั้นตามสัดส่วน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูล คือ แบบสอบถาม โดยการหาค่าเฉลี่ย ค่าเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐานและใช้สถิติเชิงอนุมาน (InferentialStatistics) เปรียบเทียบค่าเฉลี่ยของกลุ่มตัวอย่างโดยการวิเคราะห์ความแปรปรวนทางเดียว (ANOVA)และแบบสัมภาษณ์ แบบเจาะลึก (Indept interview)

จากการศึกษาความคาดหวังและความต้องการของนักศึกษาที่มีต่อบทบาทอาจารย์ที่ปรึกษาพบว่า นักศึกษามีความคาดหวังและความต้องการต่อบทบาทอาจารย์ที่ปรึกษา อยู่ในระดับมากทุกด้านตามลำดับ ได้แก่ ด้านการพัฒนาส่งเสริมศักยภาพด้านต่างๆ ด้านวิชาการ ด้านอาชีพและด้านบุคลิกภาพและทักษะชีวิต  สำหรับบทบาทที่ปฏิบัติจริงของอาจารย์ที่ปรึกษา พบว่า ด้านวิชาการ ด้านบุคลิกภาพและทักษะชีวิตและด้านอาชีพ นักศึกษาเห็นว่าอาจารย์ที่ปรึกษามีการปฏิบัติจริงอยู่ในระดับมาก  ส่วนด้านการพัฒนาส่งเสริมศักยภาพด้านต่างๆ อาจารย์ที่ปรึกษาปฏิบัติจริงอยู่ในระดับปานกลาง

ความคาดหวังและความต้องการและการปฏิบัติจริงของนักศึกษาต่อบทบาทของอาจารย์ที่ปรึกษาด้านต่างๆ ระหว่างนักศึกษาประเภทต่างๆ  พบว่า ด้านวิชาการ ด้านอาชีพนักศึกษาภาคปกติ ภาคพิเศษ จ-ศ และ ส-อา 
มีความแตกต่างกันอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ 0.05  

สำหรับการปฏิบัติจริงของอาจารย์ที่ปรึกษา ด้านวิชาการ ด้านอาชีพ ด้านการพัฒนาส่งเสริมศักยภาพด้านต่างๆ มีความแตกต่างกัน อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ 0.05     

สำหรับปัญหาประกอบด้วย ปัญหาหลักสูตร ปัญหาอาจารย์ที่ปรึกษามีเวลาพบกับนักศึกษาน้อยเกินไป ต้องการคำแนะนำหรือชี้แจงแนวปฏิบัติ ระเบียบต่างๆ ขาดการสนับสนุนแหล่งทุนและการหาสถานที่ฝึกประสบการณ์วิชาชีพนักศึกษาต้องหาเอง

THE EXPECTATION AND NEEDS OF CHIANG MAI RAJABHAT UNIVERSITY STUDENTS’ TOWARD THE ADVISERS’ ROLE 

The objectives of the study of Chiangmai Rajabhat university student’s expectation and need on advisor’s role are to study the expectation and requirement of the students on the advisors’ roles to compare the difference between the students’ expectation and requirement on advisors’ role to study the problems and suggestions of students on the role of advisors.

Sample group in this study is 1,068 undergraduates of both regular and weekend program are enrolling in the semester of 1/2554 (1^st semester of the academic year 2011) from the proportionate stratified random sampling The data collecting tools are questionnaires derived from mean, standard deviatio and inferential statistics comparing with the mean of 3 sample groups by the one-way anova and the indept-interview.

From the study of students’ expectation and need on advisors’ roles, it  found that students have the expectation and requirement on the advisors’ role in a medium level in every aspect respectively as follows:  the roles of development promotion on academic, professional, personality and life skills , on potential development promoting, the advisors have a real operation in medium level

ANOVA analysis on the expectation and need of students in each difference in the level of significantc at 0.05 on following aspects: academic, occupation. On the development promoting in different aspects, the student’s expectation and need on advisors are different with statistic significant in the level at 0.05.  The advisors’ real operation to students on academic, profession and different potential development. On the personality and life development, there is difference with statistic significant at the level 0.05

On the problem are curricula problem, the problem of advisors providing too short time for students, the need of instruction and advice on rules and regulations, the lack of scholarship and the source of training period/internship; students need to find the source themselves.
