2005 |
The journal has operated as follows: 1. Chiang Mai Rajabhat University established the “Ganesha Journal.” 2. Associate Professor Sanit Sattayopat served as the Editor from B.E. 2548 (2005) to B.E. 2564 (2021), through Volume 17, Issue 2 (July–December 2021). 3) It is published biannually, comprising two issues per year: 1) January–June and 2) July–December. 4) The objectives are 4.1) to disseminate academic articles by faculty members and students, and 4.2) to serve as a medium for exchanging research experiences and academic knowledge. 5) The scope of publication covers the humanities and social sciences, specifically in the fields of education, linguistics, political science, social development, public health, business administration, and interdisciplinary studies in the humanities and social sciences. 6) Published articles were reviewed by qualified experts (reviewers) in relevant fields, with at least two reviewers per article. 7) The journal publishes both research articles and academic articles in both Thai and English. |

2015-2019 |
The journal was indexed in Tier 2 of the Thai-Journal Citation Index Centre (TCI) in the field of Humanities and Social Sciences, effective from January 1, 2015 to December 31, 2019. |

2017 |
The journal began electronic publication under ISSN 2651-141X (Online), starting from Volume 13, Issue 2 (July–December 2017) onward. |

2018 |
The journal adopted a double-blind peer review process, in which the reviewers do not know the identities of the authors and the authors do not know the identities of the reviewers, beginning with Volume 14, Issue 2 (July–December 2018) onward. |

2020-2021 |
The journal was indexed in Tier 2 of the Thai-Journal Citation Index Centre (TCI) in the field of Humanities and Social Sciences, effective from January 1, 2020 to December 31, 2021. |

2022 |
The journal’s policies were revised as follows: 1) The Editor was changed to Acting Sub Lieutenant Dr.Kiattichai Saitakham, beginning with Volume 18, Issue 1 (January–June 2022) through Volume 20, Issue 1 (January–June 2024). 2) The publication scope has been revised to encompass the fields of language and linguistics, literature and literary theory, and social development, effective from Volume 18, Issue 1 (January–June 2022) onwards. 3) The objectives of the journal have been revised to "publish research and academic articles in both Thai and English within the fields of humanities and social sciences, specifically focusing on language and linguistics, literature and literary theory, as well as social development, in order to generate new findings and perspectives in those disciplines and to promote academic advancements beneficial to national development," effective from Volume 18, Issue 1 (January–June 2022) onwards. 4) The article processing charge (APC) for manuscripts submitted by authors from both internal and external institutions was set at THB 3,500 per article, effective from Volum 18, Issue 1 (January–June 2022) through Volume 22 Issue 2 (July–December 2026). 5) Revised the minimum number of peer reviewers per article from at least 2 reviewers to 3 reviewers, effective from Volume 18, Issue 1 (January–June 2022) through Volume 22, Issue 2 (July–December 2026). 6) The journal was indexed in Tier 1 of the Thai-Journal Citation Index Centre (TCI) in the field of Humanities and Social Sciences, effective from January 1, 2022 to December 31, 2024. |

The Editor was changed to Assistant Professor Dr.Kittipong Wongtip, beginning with Volume 18, Issue 2 (January–June 2022) through Volume 20, Issue 2 (July–December 2024) onward. |

2025-2029 |
The journal underwent evaluation and indexed in Tier 1 of the Thai-Journal Citation Index (TCI) in the field of Humanities and Social Sciences, effective from January 1, 2025 to December 31, 2029. |

2026 |
Discontinued publication of the print version of the journal under ISSN 1686-7467 (Print), effective from Volume 22, Issue 2 (July–December 2026) onward. The journal retains only the electronic version under ISSN 2651-141X (Online). |

2027 |
The journal’s policies were revised as follows: 1) The Article Processing Charge (APC) was increased from THB 3,500 per article to THB 4,500 per article. 2) The minimum number of peer reviewers per article was adjusted to at least 2 reviewers, effective from Volume 23, Issue 1 (January–June 2027) onward. |
