The Factors Affecting the Acceptance of Electronic Government Procurement (e-GP) of Procurement Officers in the University -

Abstract

The objectives of this research were to study the factors affecting the technology acceptance of Electronic Government Procurement (e-GP) and to compare the technology acceptance of the procurement officers of King Mongkut's University of Technology North Bangkok and the procurement officers of the public universities.

The samples of this research were 60 procurement officers of King Mongkut's University of Technology North Bangkok and procurement officers of the public universities by using purposive sampling method. The research instrument was questionnaire. The statistics used for data analysis include percentage, mean and standard deviation.

The results show that 1) the factors affecting the acceptance of electronic government procurement (e-GP) of procurement officers in the university followed the research conceptual framework. There are six factors adopting the electronic government procurement (e-GP). The perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, the attitude toward using, the subjective norm, intention of using information technology were in the high level and the perceived control technology was in the medium level. 2) The overall results of the technology acceptance between procurement officers of King Mongkut's University of Technology North Bangkok and procurement officers of the public universities were similar.
