วรรณกรรมเยาวชนเป็นวรรณกรรมที่มีเนื้อหาสอดคล้องกับพัฒนาการของเยาวชน ดังนั้นการอ่านวรรณกรรมเยาวชนจึงเป็นสื่อสำคัญในการส่งเสริมให้เยาวชนทุกคนมีนิสัยรักการอ่านและรักการเรียนรู้นำไปสู่การอ่านในระดับสูง การวิเคราะห์วรรณกรรมเยาวชนแบ่งเป็นการวิเคราะห์เนื้อหาและการวิเคราะห์การใช้ภาษา รวมถึงการวิเคราะห์เนื้อหา แนวคิดหรือแก่นของเรื่องได้ด้วย การวิเคราะห์วรรณกรรมเยาวชนที่สัมพันธ์กันในบทความนี้จะเป็นการวิเคราะห์เนื้อหา โดยกำหนดขอบเขตที่ศึกษาคือ ตัวละคร ฉาก และแนวคิด
