Total Quality Management and Knowledge Management are an important operational guideline for an organization of excellence. A study of the relationship between total quality management and knowledge management aims to discover the relationship characteristics and factors that will help the operations of knowledge management and overall quality management to promote and develop the capabilities of the organization. The results of the synthesis of academic articles found that Overall quality management and knowledge management are mutually reinforcing. It enables organizations to innovate more than opting for total quality management or knowledge management alone. In addition, several overall quality management actions can contribute to the successful implementation of knowledge management, such as training and continual improvement.
