This article presents the process of classification the documents, the preparation of metadata, and the catalog process of digital archive documents in the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation of Thailand. The understanding of archive and digital archive are provided, and the importance of digital archive documents as well. The classification of information is categorized into ten group including 1) history and evolution 2) organization structure and department 3) importance people and personal documents 4) policy and planning 5) mission and work 6) media and publication 7) Act and law 8) science 9) research and 10) innovation. Moreover, the article presents the using of Dublin Core metadata in cataloging digital archive documents with the examples of record from the digital repository system. This digital collection is beneficial to help not only accessing to description of digital archive and the full-text in the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation of Thailand, but also link to the provenance of the digital archive document.
