พ้นจากยุคปัจจุบันอันชั่วร้าย “ในพระคริสต์”: ความรอดในพระธรรมกาลาเทีย

บทคัดย่อ
โดยทั่วไปความรอดในจดหมายฝากกาลาเทียมักถูกอธิบายด้วยภาพทางนิติศาสตร์เป็นหลัก อย่างไรก็ตามมีนักวิชาการพระคัมภีร์ส่วนหนึ่งที่ศึกษาจดหมายฝากของเปาโลผ่านทางมุมมองวิวรณ์ศาสตร์และพบว่าเปาโลนำเสนอความรอดในจดหมายฉบับนี้ในภาพทางวิวรณ์ศาสตร์ด้วย โดยเปาโลใช้ข้อความหลายตอนที่ชี้ให้เห็นว่าความรอด คือ การที่พระเจ้าปลดปล่อยมนุษยชาติจากอำนาจชั่วร้ายผ่านทางการเข้าส่วนในพระคริสต์ โดยการถูกตรึงร่วมกับพระคริสต์ตัวตนเก่าของเราได้ถูกตรึงไว้บนไม้กางเขน และโดยการเข้าส่วนในการเป็นขึ้นมาร่วมกับพระคริสต์เราได้รับชีวิตใหม่ในฐานะการทรงสร้างใหม่และมีตัวตนใหม่ นอกจากนี้แล้วเปาโลยังพูดถึงกล่าวถึงการโอนย้ายผู้เชื่อจากยุคปัจจุบันอันชั่วร้ายไปสู่สภาวะการเป็นอยู่ใหม่ “ในพระคริสต์” ซึ่งเป็นพื้นที่ที่อำนาจชั่วร้ายไม่สามารถเป็นภัยคุกคามได้และผู้เชื่อได้รับการครอบครองจากพระเจ้าผ่านทางพระวิญญาณบริสุทธิ์(พระจิต) การนำเสนอความรอดเชิงวิวรณ์ศาสตร์นี้จะช่วยทำให้ข่าวประเสริฐเป็นสิ่งที่ใกล้ตัว เข้าใจง่าย และเกี่ยวข้องสัมพันธ์กับบริบทความเชื่อของไทยมากกว่าแนวคิดเชิงนิติศาสตร์
