The Participation of Public Administration Students in The Activities Arranged by The Department of Public Administration, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Thepsatri Rajabhat University

Abstract
The research aims to study the level of students’ participation in the activities arranged by the Department of Public Administration, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Thepsatri Rajabhat University. The samples were 205 first to fourth-year Public Administration students in the first semester of 2021. A seventeen-item questionnaire was used as a research tool, and descriptive statistics such as percentage, mean, and standard deviation were employed to analyze the data. The findings indicated that, across all aspects and overall, the level of students' participation in the activities organized by the department was at a high level. The aspect with the highest mean was gaining the benefits from the activities, and the aspect with the lowest mean was having the participation in planning and making decisions. Moreover, the students expressed their voices that the department should arrange field trips to the working places for fourth-year students if the situation of COVID-19 was relieved. With this, they could gain practical experience from the real working places.
