Experiential Learning - Based Experience Design to Enhance Analytical Thinking Skills in Early Childhood

Abstract

     This research was experimental research with One Group Posttest-Only Design by the purposes of this research were 1. to examine the Analytical Thinking Skills of early childhood students after the Experiential Learning-Based Experience Design 2. to evaluate the satisfaction of early childhood students with the Experiential Learning-Based Experience Design. The sample group for the research consisted of 28 early childhood students, room 3/1, from Prachuap Khiri Khan Kindergarten School, Mueang District, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province in the second semester of academic year 2024, Selected through purposive sampling with the classroom as the unit of random selection. The research instruments were 1. ten Experiential Learning-Based Experience Plans 2. fifteen-item, 3-Likert Analytical Thinking Skills Assessment for early childhood students 3. Early childhood students Satisfaction Questionnaire with 10 questions. Statistics used in data analysis include: mean (M) standard deviation (SD.) and content analysis

     The results found that: 1. The analytical thinking skills of early childhood students after the Experiential Learning-Based Experience Design were at a very high level. And 2. The satisfaction of early childhood students with the Experiential Learning-Based Experience Design was at a high level.
